Why I Do This Work

Most people who find me have tried a lot. Changed their diet. Cycled through supplements. Been told their labs look fine. They still don't feel well.

I'm on a mission to change that.

Because I spent years in that same place, doing everything right and still not getting answers. When I finally found what was missing, I knew I had to build my work around it.

I can't wait to help you finally understand what your body has been trying to tell you, but first… the backstory.

How I Got Here

I tried to do everything right. Or at least, I thought I was.

For years, I was a competitive cutting horse rider chasing world titles with the National Cutting Horse Association. That life looks glamorous from the outside. The reality was traveling almost every weekend, flying or driving, eating whatever food was around, and pushing through long days. I'd be home two or three days, just long enough to do laundry, sort the mail, repack, and go again.

My body handled it. So I thought.

Then in 2021, mold exposure in my home brought everything I'd been compensating for to the surface. The irritability. The rage. The exhaustion. The depression that came out of nowhere in someone who had always been easygoing. The diarrhea, the facial redness, the peeling skin.

I was eating clean. Taking my supplements. Doing the research. And I still felt off. I'd go to the doctor and hear the same things: "Your labs look fine." "It's just allergies." "You have chronic inflammation." "You're stressed." "It's hormonal."

Fine. But I didn't feel fine.

I went down the rabbit hole that everyone in this world eventually goes down. Here's what mine looked like: The programs. Parasite cleanses. Mold protocols. Candida protocols. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers. IV therapy. Acupuncture. Cryotherapy. Red light therapy. Functional medicine doctors. Multivitamins. Stacks of supplements with so many bottles I needed a spreadsheet to track when to take what. Wait, did I already take that?

Don't get me wrong. All of these things have a place and a time. Some of them worked. Some of them partially worked. Some of them didn't move the needle at all, even when I thought they should have.

More than a decade of bottles, protocols, and appointments. I had a cabinet full of supplements and still didn't know what my body actually needed.

We did the mold remediation. We addressed the obvious symptoms. And I still didn't feel like myself.

I was already in the middle of getting certified when one of my instructors mentioned HTMA during a Zoom call. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. A simple at-home hair sample test that measures how minerals are being deposited in the body over time. Patterns, not just a single snapshot.

It intrigued me. I had always wondered how we're actually supposed to know which vitamins and minerals our bodies need. My previous doctors and practitioners had never done bloodwork for any of it. I'd been throwing supplements at the problem for years without knowing if any of them were the right ones, the wrong ones, or just expensive pee.

I ordered my test kit.

When I saw my results, things started fitting together. I could see what my body had been doing. Where I was depleted. What was out of balance. Which foods to focus on and which ones to back off of. Whether I was getting enough nutrition from food alone, or whether I needed targeted support. For me, the answer was a definite yes. What I also discovered through this process was that I wasn't eating enough food to support my body in the way it needed.

That's also when I found Vykon. Custom supplements built around my actual patterns, not a generic stack. One formula instead of a cabinet of bottles.

Years of road life, stress, and depleted reserves had set the stage. The mold didn't cause it. It exposed it.

You don't know if you don't know.

Minerals were the missing piece nobody had told me about.

I went on to become a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, and a Certified HTMA Practitioner because I wanted other people to have access to what I'd found. Not another generic protocol. A real starting point built on their own data.
